Last week we have been in Berlin for two days. Since we always came to Berlin to go to a concert (this time it was just the same, we saw The Residents), we spend little time to discover the city. Well, this time we tried and at least I am now a little sick of Berlin Mitte. We had a great breakfast at "Zur Rose" which is on Weinbergsweg. And we found a funny backyard-gallery on Oranienburger Strasse - I am sure that people who live in Berlin already know about this gallery, but I really liked this old building where the Tacheles gallery was. So in the backyard they made figures, animals and people out of steal and other metal things. It was quite impressing, but also really.. depressing. So real they looked, so dead their were when you got closer.
When we walked further (I had actually no idea where we were walking, but luckily we always ended up on Alexanderplatz) I found a lomography store!! I just freaked out and we had to spend there a bit. Unfortunately the prices for the cameras were insane (hello? it's plastic!) and I have to get my first lomography camera from somewhere else (amazon has them for 30 euros less (!!)). Well, but it was a firework for my eyes and I was really happy to have found this store.
